Dana Alcala

Game Developer. Livestreamer. Gamer. Family man.

Game Developer

Ever since I started playing video games, I have always wanted to make them. Ideas constantly run through my head detailing components I would have personally improved in each game had I made them myself. Now that I know how to make them, it's not so arcane to me. However, I do acknowledge that it's a never-ending learning process, and I'm OK with that.

Livestreamer/Youtuber

I do Let's Plays on Youtube and Twitch.tv.

Gamer

I've been a gamer since I was three years old. From Intellivision to PS4, video games have been my preferred choice of entertainment. My two cents: Final Fantasy 6 > Chrono Trigger. But Chrono Trigger is still a fantastic game, and in my opinion not far behind (if at all).

Family man

My partner, my dog, my friends and of course, my games are all I have and all I need.

Games I've worked on

Here you will find a catalog of both commercial and hobby games that I have contributed to.

Test Your Mind - Wii U

I helped program XenoHorizon's Test Your Mind, available for purchase on Nintendo's Wii U eShop.

Path of the Asteroid

I developed Path of the Asteroid: Death's Journey using Construct 2. It is available for free on Google Play.

Indy 1945

Indy 1945 is literally the first game I ever released to the public. Please be kind. ;) Developed with Construct 2.

Jammin' With Chu

I created Jammin' With Chu with Construct 2 for the Jam!Jam!Jam! Jam, a joke game jam. It is available for free on Google Play.

Portal Patrol

Portal Patrol, an introduction to a text adventure, was my submission to Ludum Dare 30. I used C# to make it.

More to come!
